SOOOO EXCITED!!!

I am SO excited I can't even stand it! Thanks to Neenie, Tex and I are taking a little road trip.... My mom is coming in to visit next weekend and offered us a "date" night and I decided to take it one step further and make it a "date over-night"!!!

It is almost embarrassing to admit because it is completely our own faults for putting life before our need to get away and enjoy each other but we haven't spent the night away just the two of us since our honeymoon 6 years ago!

So, me and the hubs are going to Indy for a night of fun just the two of us!!!

We get to stay here....

And Sleep here.... yes, uninterrupted sleep!!!!
And Maybe Swim Here....

And who knows what else! We said we might get crazy and hit the town but my guess is we will go out to a really nice dinner and be back at the room by 10 (Ok, who am I kidding probably 9 at the latest :) but the night will be PERFECT with me either way!

I don't know how I am going to make it till next weekend, I am ready NOW!

A Whole Lot of Nothing!

Well, I have been sick since really last Monday :( I went back to urgent care this past Sunday and got a positive strep test and a new prescription! Today is the first day in over a week that I am feeling like myself again!! The kids have been very patient with mommy cause I literally have NO energy! So, we have been getting creative and doing a whole lot of this:

We are also practicing wearing our bow 24/7 around the clock! Tex thinks I have lost it but it is starting to work, she is not pulling it out as often!

Our Favorite part of doing nothing was going outside and driving the truck! Two Drivers = A Trucker's Fight and we had our very own right in the driveway!

This girl is giving her sick momma a run for her money! You literally can't turn your back for even a second! I am looking forward to a warmer, healthier and more active week ahead!

And Baby Makes 3!

This past weekend we got to shower Brook with tons of cute girly presents for baby M! It was so great seeing everyone and celebrating a new life coming into our circle! :) I miss my friends like crazy and every time their around it is like no time has ever passed, I love you guys!

Just a Couple of Jokers at the Park!

Our Wish came true! We were able to put on our "heavy" jackets and the kids "joker" hats and go to the park! Even if it was just for about 30 minutes we made the most of our time! The kids had a blast and I took the opportunity to take some pics!

Our "dare-devil" Ann Mason has no fear with slides, swings and anything to do with danger! She is going to thrives off of thrills! haha Poor Palmer doesn't know whether to still be in the baby swing or the big swing, so of course our ever cautious Palmer chose to look like baby Hughey in the baby swing! I laughed so hard at these two, never-ever a dull moment!

Where Were You?

Where were you a year ago? This is where the Templeton's were! This picture might not seem like much but when I look at it, it brings back the best memories! Ann Mason was just about 3 weeks old and we had just gotten our double stroller. We used to go to the mall every day with the senior citizens and just walk around for hours. I can't believe how much has changed in just a year!

My kids are growing out of their pj's at lightening speed, shoes that just fit a month ago are squeezing their little toes now, vocabularies are growing by the minute, dance moves are getting more advanced and my heart is filling up more and more each day for the love I have for these two very different and very special kids!

The Templeton's are officially on the mend and we hear just maybe this weekend might be a hopeful glimpse of Spring!!! Light Jackets and a trip to the park sound like heaven after a LONG KY winter!!! I just filled out our pool membership and I can't wait for the warm weather and bathing suits!

I have been horrible with the camera lately so hopefully after this weekend we will have lots of new pictures!

Sick...

The Templetons' are down and out. Today was filled with dr. visits and Walgreens to fill prescribtions. Ann Mason has strep and I have a sinus and upper respiratory infection, yuck! No wonder Ann Mason hasn't been herself, I had no idea she was even sick! We are staying home tomorrow and I have promised Palmer a trip to Blockbuster to rent some movies and to stay in our pj's! I am so lucky to have a flexible schedule at work because I don't see how I would live life if I wasn't able to be flexible with two kiddos!!!

So this week will probably be BLAH! But I am so excited to go to a fun baby shower this weekend and catch up with great friends!!!

Birthday Parties!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY CAROLINE!

Tex and I often laugh cause it seems as if Kids' Birthday parties are our new social life! All of our friends are married so not a lot of bachelorette parties and weddings anymore! They have all been replaced with lots of giggling kids, sticky fingers, sugar highs and fun! I wouldn't trade it for the world!

This weekend was special because we got to travel down to Caroline's birthday party in Nashville. Caroline's mommy has been my best friend since we were 15! Our friendship is tried and true and even though we haven't lived in the same city for over 12 years we have still managed to keep up with each other thru the good and the bad. I can't say enough about Ms. Caroline, she is the sweetest, most lovable and happy little girl! A perfect best friend for Ann Mason in every way! We loved seeing them and I loved watching our kids playing together thinking how we were just mere kids ourselves when Kelly and I began our journey together! We still are at times! haha I love you guys, thanks for a great party!
